‘Tis a Merry Faire in Bristol!

Good morrow, all ye Midwesterners! Summer has come upon you. It’s hot. It’s humid. The kids are out of school, running amok and bombarding your household pets with water balloons. What is a humble citizen to do?

Why not time-travel to a simpler, merrier day at the Bristol Renaissance Faire? This year, they’re celebrating their 25th anniversary, and we’re betting that means some history-making celebratory fun…

The Deets

When: Every Saturday, Sunday, and Labor Day from July 7th through September 3rd


Where: 12550 120th Ave., Kenosha, WI 53142

-          30 mins from Milwaukee

-          50 mins from Chicago

-          2 hours and 15 mins from Madison.

In addition to the reams of recurring entertainment, every weekend of the Faire has its own special events that will encourage you to impersonate the boomerang and keep coming back for more:

Opening Weekend: July 7-8 – Kids (12 and under) get in free!

Celtic Weekend: July 14-15

Steampunk Invasion: July 21-22 – Including a Promenade Contest on Saturday.

“Renaissance Runway” Costume Contest: July 28-29 – Entry is free! Saturday is “Fantasy Day” (anything goes!) and Sunday is “History Day” (Ancient Rome to WWII). Magic Weekend: August 11-12

Salute to Uniforms: August 18-19 – All branches of the armed forces, police, fire, and EMT professionals and all scouts will get ticket discounts. Just come in uniform!
